The Artists

Sydney Ippolito-Director/Choreographer

Sydney just recently completed her Junior year at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), and cannot wait to embark on the journey that this summer entails. Sydney has choreographed for many different companies, the most prominent being, Ballet Arkansas for whom she choreographed the Snow Scene in their full length production of, The Nutcracker. She has also had an extensive performing career performing roles for, Evansville Ballet, Birmingham Ballet, and Arkansas Festival Ballet. She has just recently discovered her love for musical theatre while starring in the University's production of Once Upon a Mattress. She is also performing in another show this summer, Cabaret at the Argenta Community Theatre. She is the current director of  the Artists in Resonance Dance Project.

 

Penn Ross Jackson, Jr. is proud to return for the second Artists in Resonance Dance Concert. Penn is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Theatre Arts. He has stage managed shows throughout Little Rock such as, Argents Community Theater's Cabaret, directed by Bob Hupp, Arkansas Festival Ballet's Aladdin and Alice in Wonderland, Ballet Arkansas' productions of The Nutcracker and Beyond Category, UALR's Once Upon a Mattress, and The Weekend Theater's Crumbs From the Table of Joy. He was the Assistant Stage Manager for the Pulaski County Bar Association's production of Gridiron; a View From the Barre at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, as well as One Ninth at Mosaic Templars Cultural Museum. Penn is the Producing Artistic Director of an emerging theatre company, The Unified Artists Movement (TUAM) for which he produced and stage managed Susan-Lori Parks' Topdog/Underdog. He was most recently seen onstage as Ross Gardiner in Jeff Baron's Visiting Mr. Green. Penn has experience as an Actor, Master Electrician, Lighting Designer, Fly Director, and Producer. He has recently been accepted to attend University of California, Irvine's MFA Stage Management program where he will begin in the fall. 

 Bailey Lamb-Choreographer

Paige Ghent-Choreographer 

Hails from the proud state of Louisiana, then Houston, then Dallas, and now Little Rock. This is her first year at UALR. She holds a degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in Neuroscience and Dance. While in Dallas, she began her modern dance training when she was 21. She danced with Richland College, Brookhaven College, UTD Dance Ensemble, and Collin College Dance. She has had multiple choreographic experiences. She was a gymnast for many years and choreographed as well as taught routines for competitive and elite gymnasts. In Dallas, she has had residencies with Robert Battle from Battleworks, Jennifer Mabus, and has also been involved with the Koi Thi African Dance Company. She has had her choreography adjudicated at the American College Dance Festival, and has choreographed pieces for many different schools. Paige is now teaching at Forest Heights Middle School and is very excited not only to showcase her choreography but to collaborate with her fellow dancers at UALR. 

Lyndsey Rauls-Publicist/Choreographer 

Lyndsey is currently a junior at The University of Arkansas at Little Rock obtaining a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance Performance. She has performed in three concerts with the dance department. She has been a trainee with Ballet Arkansas for the fall semester of her sophomore year. She has studied intensively for five weeks at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet. Over the years, Lyndsey has performed in many ballets including, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Alice in Wonderland. This is her second summer to be involved with Artists in Resonance and she could not be any more excited about this opportunity! 

Brittany Goodlow-Choreographer  

Nina Harris-Choreographer  

Nina recently finished her sophomore year as a dance major at UALR and will continue in the Fall as a Junior. Thus far, Nina has performed in three dance concerts at the University and in the musical production of Once Upon a Mattress. She also performed in The Weekend Theatre's production of Chicago. She is currently the head choreographer for the praise team at Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas and is in the process of creating a piece for the New Creation Dance Company in Sherwood, Arkansas. She is thrilled to be a part of this year's Artists in Resonance production and is excited to be among Little Rock's emerging choreographers!
